It is about finding yourself at home with or without them and being comfortable with the new 'it is'.           Forgiveness isn't about letting them get away with it. It is about letting you get away from it.           Forgiveness is not about letting someone off the hook. It is about letting yourself off the hook from hurting and moving along.           Forgiveness is not about forgetting. It is about remembering but not letting it affect you and still allowing yourself to show up with love and authenticity.           Forgiveness is not about expecting things to change. It is about accepting that you will change for the better, and that's what matters.           Forgiveness is not about being the bigger person. It's about being what you were always meant to be.
