Giving and forgiving.                     When you are out to create a change in your life, in the life of others or in the universe, the first thing creativity calls on you to do is invoke the giver in you.           It demands you give your undivided attention to your dreams, your unrelenting commitment to pour your gifts into the world, your non-negotiable devotion to showing up to honour your talents and your purpose, your selfless generosity and your magnanimous love.           But on the journey of deep, meaningful creation, there can be no authentic giving without forgiving.           Forgive all those who didn't give you a chance. Everyone who told you that you were no good. Those who rejected you and your ideas. Forgive them.           Ask for forgiveness from those whom you have wronged, knowingly or unknowingly. Asking for forgiveness sets you free. When you are free, you are fearless. And when you are fearless, you create like you've been possessed by the Gods of creation themselves.           And most importantly, forgive yourself for not allowing yourself to create and live a fulfilling, joyful and abundant life. Forgive yourself for your past mistakes and failures. Forgive yourself for all the shame, wrongdoings and the guilt.           Just forgive. And then give it whatever you have.             The band-aid for creativity wounds and scars is called Belief.                     We all have creativity wounds and scars, some that we have inflicted upon ourselves in moments of self-doubt, while some given to us by parents who never knew too much, and some from critics who were fighting their own battles for survival.           The friends, teachers, boyfriends and girlfriends have not been any less vitriolic. Yes, our creative pursuits are bullet-ridden and battle-scarred by naysayers and the demons of our creative self-worth.           The result of all these wars that we have allowed to be waged against us? Dreams that are buried, deep inside us.           Reawaken your yearnings by one drop of belief. Bandage the desire to create with one baby step. All you need is a little bit of self-love and TLC. When you ask your heart to grow again, it will.           We are larger than life. Large enough to hold all our losses. We are powerful enough to dream again, risk again. The universe is standing right there to hold you and start again. Give it your hand, reach out to it.
