You're playing live.                     One day you will realise that life is not waiting to happen. This very moment is life. You don't go through a dress rehearsal or innumerable practice session to finally play the character you've wanted to play your entire life. You are given the character, and you evolve it as the narrative of life changes. Yes, you are being produced and directed by the universe, but you are given the power to tap into your most authentic self and rewrite the script. But again, you don't rewrite the script and then step onto the stage of life. You rewrite it in real time and improvise as you go along.           One day you will realise that life can't be prepared by sitting in the green room and waiting for someone to call you on stage. The cameras are on you right now.           One day you will realise that you are the lead character in your life. Everyone else, everyone, is a secondary character. And you are also your biggest fan, completely, irrevocably and unabashedly head over heels in love with yourself.           You will also realise that everybody is a fictional character in your story, and you start writing your own story based on how they expect you to show up. Only when you realise your true authentic self will you realise that you were also a fictional character for yourself. Your real life was fiction.           And here is the interesting part in all this. You are the audience too. Watching yourself intently, every breath, every action, every nuance, every emotion, every dialogue. Just watching. Just observing. Just being the witness. Not getting attached to anything.           One day you will realise that you cannot live one more day lessening yourself, playing a side character in your life, directed by someone backstage.           Yes, if someone were to record your behind the scenes as you rewrite your story, they would see a lot of drama with suppressed emotions, fight sequences with inner demons, a tearjerker reunion with the inner child, many romantic moments with one self, a lot of blood, sweat and tears, and the escape from a self-created prison.           This is not a documentary, this is not a biopic, this is not an art film. This is your life. And it deserves a five-star rating. By you.                 It's so much more fulfilling to be a go-giver than a go-getter.                     When you are out to bring joy, love and miracles into your life and create a change in your life and in the universe, the first thing life calls on you to do is invoke the giver in you. Second, to give yourself the joy, love and miracles for only once your cup is getting filled will you be able to pour them into the world.           It then demands you to move from self to service, to make a conscious shift from the devotion to your conditioned self to the service of your unconditioned self. To lose yourself into the service of the universe and its beings. It asks of you to be a go-giver rather than a go-getter, to come from a space of abundance, not scarcity. It calls on you to give your undivided attention to your dreams, your unrelenting commitment to your gifts being used in the universe and not hoarded in forgotten cupboards, your non-negotiable devotion to showing up to honour your talents and your purpose, your selfless generosity and your magnanimous love.           Giving is asking the universe what you can do for it and how you can serve it instead of asking the universe what it can do for you. It's not about turning prayer into a shopping list but a gratefulness inventory. It inspires you to move from a get to a give state of being. We all may have a unique purpose on this planet but there's one purpose that's common to all of us in whatever we do. To be a giver of love and spread it in abundance. Through our beingness, work, actions and interactions.           The universe does not look down upon the worldly and luxury goods that makes your life easier. They have been created through someone to serve you and make you enjoy the life that you have been given. But the trouble starts when we hoard these riches for our own, we dedicate our lives to creating these riches for our own happiness and we attach ourselves to them and not return them back to the universe. For everything that we have does not belong to us but the universe, and we are the beneficiaries of the universe’s generosity so that we can give away what we have in its service. And that’s when life becomes an endless cycle of joyous receiving and giving.           In this continuous flow, you find yourself. And lose yourself in the divine grace that flows to you and then through you.           When you come from abundance, you find abundance. When you come from lack, you find lack. When you come from love, you become love. Generosity is love and love is a life force that unblocks the portals of creation and allows creativity to flow, freely, playfully and abundantly in your life.           Give more than what the value of the 'deal' is. Give more of your you-ness. Give so that it can affect more lives on the planet. And above all, be open to receiving more from the universe in return.           It's far more fulfilling to be a go-giver than a go-getter. Be grateful.
