Your toxic critic. Your logical left brain. Your censor. Your merciless foe that just wants to go for your creative jugular. The one who tells you that your creativity sucks. The one that tries to convince you that you will never be good enough. The one who keeps rattling on about how you could be better off not creating.           Cheat on it.           By falling in love with showing up.           Get into a relentless lustful relationship with doing. With showing up. With being in love with your creation. With not listening to your critics.           Show up for the new love of your life - showing up.           And once you cheat on fear, it'll be easier for you to walk out on it. Because on the other side of fear and judgement is the abundant joy of creation.             Send anger a friend request.                     Anger is ugly but a beautiful friend.           It may want you to smash someone's head, but it's a buddy.           It may make you throw a fit, but it's on your side.           It tells you to pick up the phone and scream at someone, but it's got your back.           Anger is not the enemy. It is the friend. Sure, not someone you would want to hang out with but one who shows you the way, the light, the path. It's a plea, a voice, a demand for you to get up and do something.           Hate someone for they 'stole' your idea? Anger tells you to act upon your ideas and protect them.           Want to kill someone because they wrote a better poem? Anger is the voice that tells you to sharpen your own skills.           Envious of someone because they have more followers? Anger demands that you up your own game.           Anger is meant to be acted upon. Talk to anger and allow it to show you the direction and the actions you need to take. Anger is the fuel that can either burn you or fire you up and propel you into a new direction.           Sometimes, to break down the walls around creativity, you have to see yourself driven up the wall.           Send anger a friend request.
